In China, usually only female dancers perform "peacock dance". Jiang Renrui wanted to make his paralyzed wife happy, so he performed the "peacock dance" for her in China's Got Talent.

In Chinese, we use the same term, peafowl, for both peahen and peacock. That's why the judge said "only peacocks flare out their feathers" and found it so funny when Jiang said "I'm a male too".

i like this video as it shows how the judges can give people second chances even though they know that the contestant will not win the competition. do they do this on other "____ got talent" shows? NO! the fact that these judges question the contestant to get to the true meaning of their performance, shows how these judges have true heart and care for all who compete. to me, these are great judges because of their open hearts and minds!

It was such a sweet thing that this man did for his wife, but i don't think that they should've let him go to the next level. He would only last a few weeks, and letting him through to the next level would just bring his hopes up. Yes, he should be rewarded for the great thing he did, but not this way.
