  • This is the first time I've seen Bill W. on video. No surprises here, a good old fashioned Vermonter. I find this to be delightful and thank whoever put this here. Thanks to God for Bill W. and Dr. Bob who started a movement that has saved and enriched the lives of so many recovering alcoholics. They never claimed to be heros or saints, they did it to stay sober themselves and to help other alcoholics. Bravo!

  • And what a terribly DREARY character he is. I was really surprised, given the degree of adulation he is given by AA members, that he is so devoid of charisma. He really just comes across as a self-obsessed bore.

  • When was this video made?

  • hey, don't like AA, maybe you don't have a problem,..perhaps you can try some controlled drinking. or maybe you're an alcoholic that can get well alone... be my guest..AA is for those who want it... don't want it... why bother

  • @SalemStorm Step 1

  • @NickerSkids : his wife was a volunteer.

  • yeah go to a couple open ass Big Book meetings. stay away from the open discussion cuz 3/4 of that is not aa

  • You should sober up before uploading idiot

  • Came to believe that a power greater than ourselves could restore us to sanity

First you have to admit you are insane

  • @henryporter contempt prior to investigation is everlasting ignorance..do yourself a favor and go to a couple open AA meetings...then comment on what you believe..my question is why would you watch anything related to addiction. Second none of the profits were directly Bill Wilson's the big book was written but hundreds of alcoholics..get your story straight..it was the contribution of several people not just one man...God Bless You Though

  • @henryporter101 What harm has AA done? The courts send people there not AA. One is free to join or not to. To believe in God or not to believe in any God whatsoever, there are no fees no axes to grind, no one to please. It helps millions and I guess that's a bad thing for whatever reason. If you view alcoholism as a weakness it is but if you look upon the willingness to find something within us we haven't been able to access to solve the drink problem then I find that perplexing Why the disdain?
