Yanno...I'm really not a fan of rap or opera; as music, they just don't float my ducky.
So if someone is blasting either one where I can hear it, and I ask them to turn it down or

off...you don't think that somehow makes me a rap or opera fan, do you?

I'm a meat-eater, but I have plenty of friends who aren't; if they tell you that meat is

murder, and try to get you to not eat it...you don't think that somehow makes them meat

eaters, do you?

If someone thinks racial profiling is wrong, that it's something people shouldn't do, and

they argue against it, you wouldn't argue that this makes them a racial profiler themselves,

would you?

So explain to me exactly how NOT believing in a god is somehow a religion in and of itself.

Explain to me how arguing against the validity of religion makes atheism a religion.

from theists A LOT. And it's just plain chowderheaded.

I can only assume they do this because they see us arguing against religion, and if they can somehow morph atheism into a religion, it would invalidate our argument and get us to shut up.
Well, I'm sorry, kiddos, but it doesn't work that way; atheism is the LACK of religion, and strong atheism is the REJECTION of it. We don't believe in god, which is kind of a pre-requisite for being religious.

So do yourselves a favor and quit running on automatic. Instead, try thinking...especially before you open your big yaps and let us know just how low your IQ really is.

From what I gather, saying that athiesm is actually a belief system with faith in the theories behind that which it is based upon (Which, in essence, makes it religion.) will be futile to expand upon, as BionicDance will insist on refusing the simple fact that his/her belief system fits the definitions of a religion and will continue to. Would juts like to make one point though, religion isn't a bad thing. Stop trying to make it seem like it is. It shows how great humanity's networking can be.

@TimPriestnall this is a common misfire in the creationist brain caused by the invalid coupling of science and atheist. Athiesm is not a belief system not even in science it is mearly a rejection of one single claim, god or gods. Most atheist extend this to anything you cannot document, and most atheist embrace science. but the two are unrelated thus when the believer tries to shoot down science thinking that somehow hurts the "atheist world view" they do nothing.

@TimPriestnall Atheism is nothing more than a lack of belief in a deity or deities. How is a lack of belief a belief system? And most atheists, including Keight and I, feel religion is a bad thing because it takes away responsibility and free thought.

@TimPriestnall I said it's not necessary because it isn't required; non-belief can just happen all on its own if one is ignorant or of one lets it.

...only there are SOME people making our lives WORSE with their belief, their dogma, their religion. THAT'S why I make these videos: to stop the believer asshats making our lives less pleasant.
