Alright, sorry about that. You should get back to it though. It's still an awesome game. If you've got any of the chat programs listed on my profile, feel free to add me and I can send you a modified render.cfg file that allows you to use the best graphics BZ1 has to offer. Of course, there's always BZ2 as well. I personally play both, though online gaming in BZ2 is much more fun than in BZ1.

Does the new render.cfg mean that I wont get unhandled exception errors when I install battlezone? Am using Vista etc and have tried reinstalling it before and thats what happened - Also are you aware of Battlezone enahnced? Has been developed by the BZ community

No. The render.cfg is something that comes when installing BZ. If you mean "Unhandled exception" errors in-game, then just run BZ in Windows 98 compatibility mode and it should work fine. If that doesn't help you, there should be instructions on the Internet on how to install and correctly run BZ with Windows Vista. I myself have Windows XP. Render.cfg is pretty much purely graphics stuff. Yes, I'm aware of BZE. There's also a BZ Classic mod being developed for BZ2 v. 1.3 by Avatar.
