  • Pounding music sucks. Gave me a headache.

  • Lose this music. If you'd get professional marketing behind you they'd tell you the music MUST match your target market. From the sound of this you're going after a somewhat unsophisticated (not too well heeled) bunch.

  • whats the fatality rate in the history of gyrocopters?

  • I was going to make a fortunate on a fleet of 30 big scaled versions of this.... Unfortunately proprietary licensing technology issues puts this out of commercial development until past 2025 til 2050! I have a better chance of walking on the Moon than having a Carter 'Jumbo' Helioplane. Pity, the logistics cost would have been better than a commercial big rig... I don't blame CA for it's principal customer being the US government; aviation is so capitally intense, and return is just business.

  • @BIGPAI

I agree with you there... strange situation ;)

maybe if you angle the fire extinguisher's waterjet in a proper way for torque compensation... haha

  • Hi:

Begining at 2:23, the promotional video shows an airborne vehicule HOVERING in a fire situation. That strongly sugest temporarily applying power to the main rotor (with a disposition similar to pre-rotation devices) and differentially using the twin propelers to compensate the induced torque. In this situation, the vehicule would became a kind of helicopter. But is'n it what CarterCopter is all about? A transport solution spanning the space between a plane, a gyro and a chopper? Greetings

  • @BIGPAI this type of aircraft is based on an autogyro, so the main rotor isn't powered during level flight

  • @archon808

Excuse me, but I think that with a 2-engine/propeller this machine can pass without the tail rotor, the torque of the powered main rotor beeing balanced by the differential thrust you obtain when you apply a diferent power to each propeller.

  • These some marketing b.s. going on here. This machine wont be able to power its main rotor, in the air, without a tail rotor. So a zero roll landing isnt happening without a strong head wind. No way are you landing on a building top, too risky. And your really not going to hover in front of a burning building. This thing cant hover without a tail rotor!!!!

  • @BatManisSWAGG I believe the video is of the 5 place test model.
