The Dutch city of Apeldoorn on Sunday marked the 65th anniversary of the liberation of the Netherlands from Nazi occupation by paying homage to Canadian World War II veterans....

  • the canadians, british, americans, ansac and all other nations fighting the nazi's and japs: thank you, my father was 4 or 5 at the time, living through the winter of Hunger of 44 and 45, you saving him made sure I could exist as well :)

  • April 1945 My father with the Canadian Corps of the 1st Canadian Army helped liberate in those areas !

    When I visit for my 1st trip there, love to see the area
