Yes! How do the IRRIGATORS get so huge in the driest land on Earth (except for Antarctica, because I'm never wrong). I see a GREAT opportunity to irrigate on the edges of Australia's inland sea. At least now that GOD has (in my opinion - without a doubt) made AUstralia the wettest continents. I will pay the Govt. $1 per week, for a perpetual lease, which I will sell for $1billion dollars at the earliest opportunity in this land of opportunity. And contrasts - between me (rich) & city (poor) .
The Basin needs 3-4 Giga Lites of FLOW water. This is 3-4 Cubic Kilometres. The Basin is a bit more than 1 million square kilometres. That means 3-4 millimtres of rainfall PRESERVED for FLOW. This is also equal to about 30 Sydney desalination plants (250 Mega litres PER Day). The IRRIGATORS should pay for as many Desal Plants as needed and they can have all the RAIN water. BUT, who stops them from EXPANDING in size? And how did they get so big already?
