  • confused - he says short it 1/4 inch but then says it needs to be long enough to go uner the next piece?

  • @LocalDogRescue nO YOU CUT THE 1 STEP OUT AND REPLACE THAT 1 FOOL

  • @Joltinjess

last i checked this is a free country and you can watch any video you want then comment how you feel. Being a carpet installer, and watching someone do that kind of hack job makes you angry. Guess you wouldn't understand, you probably don't have any special skill people are trying to half-ass.

  • @idylapple

In this day and age people look to the internet for advice. They think that what you see online is correct, especially when the posters name is expert village. Instead of you complaining about people trying to educate people how to do a job right, you should be angry the guy telling you to do stuff the wrong way!! This guy is not a carpet installer, and if he is i would never let him do any work in my home.

  • @LocalDogRescue

BS you can cut out one step using a handy tool called a knife. Done it before in multi-million dollar homes in Orlando.

  • wrong

  • this guy is wasted on drugs

  • @idylapple

Amen to that. If you are a professional, Why are you watching how to videos? So you can verbally assault the guy and feel like a big man?

  • For those suggesting you run one long run, should a tear, stain etc occur on the steps you have to replace the entire run. If you do individual stairs and an accident happens you only have to replace that one step.

  • So wrong, the only time i install steps individually is when im doing tailored(upholstered)steps. These look like theyre waterfall so doing 4-5 steps at a time is the way to go.If anyone is watching this video for tips on how to do stairs you can contact me and Ill tell you the right way to do it.
