About 800 agoutis live in the middle of the Rio´s town center.

Prefeitura diz que gasta R$ 70 mil por ano com a alimentação dos bichos.
Animais ficam no Campo de Santana, maior área verde do Centro.

The City Hall says that it spends R$ 70,000 per year with food for these aminals. They live in the "Campo de Santana (Santana´s Field), the biggest green area of Rio´s town center.

Em meio ao movimento do Centro do Rio, os pedestres podem esbarrar com cerca de 800 cutias, 70 gansos, patos e marrecos, sete pavões, 30 saguis e duas galinhas d´angola. Os bichos estão soltos, circulando pelo Campo de Santana, segundo a prefeitura, a maior área verde do Centro. In the middle of Rio´s town center bustle, pesdestrians can bump into about 800 agoutis, 70 goose and muscovy ducks and ducks, seven peacocks, 30 small monkeys and two guinea fowl. The animals live free, circulating through the Campo de Santana, according to the City Hall, the largest area in the city town center. The City Hall spens per year R$ 70,000 with the food of the aminals, that are used to eat animal food, vegetables and greens.
