interesting to visualize an object as a movie
-
@silversobe - we are still limited by finite energy, it will always be rationed
-
@Matt0ldMan - perhaps the ability to print circuit boards would give the ability to build complex analoguue computers
-
1 OTHER use could be 3D model photographic mementos
-You take a picture with a 3d camera/laser camera and that way you can print out the Roman Colosseum and have it on your mantle piece.
Of course you'll only have 1 side of it (at the consumer level cause no one wants to spending ages piecing it together in a computer) but that could still sell/be good
-
or maybe some form of digital screen like a really high power plasma screen, that zaps the resin with UV light??
-
@walter0bz you can print circuit boards??? So maybe oneday they'll have an all in one unit that can print entire systems - im sure they are already on it !! :)
-
there must be a quicker way to organize one layer of resin
what about a really powerful laser projector -curing layers at 60 fps as a platform moves down !!
-
print neural nets
-
3DP is the new industrial revolution
-
nice presentation.. very interesting...
Our system of capitalism will eventually be irrelevant and counter productive (if not already) since we are approaching potentials which we can create abundance, sustainability, efficiency and well being for all the worlds people. Removing scarcity and the aberrant effects it causes such as theft. Abundance, sustainability, and efficiency are enemies of our economic structure for they are inverse to the mechanics required to perpetuate consumption.
