I tried this on my netbook but it didn't crash and I ended up closing over 100 windows since it didn't work.

So putting start an saving it as a .bat will cause itself to open itself? What does start tell it to do? Open 30 windows of itself or cmd?

a trick I did, Open notepad and put in 'Start wordpad' and save it as a .bat and open it. It will crash you computer. ;D
