Senator Mark Warner joined nine of his fellow freshman Senators in back-to-back floor speeches on the need to keep moving forward on bipartisan health reform. All ten of the first-term Democratic senators argued that health reform not only must be paid for it also must reduce long-term costs for families, businesses, state and federal governments.
Give the senator a break. He is a freshman senator, but one of only a few democrats preaching fiscal responsibility on this issue. If he gets too upity Pelosi will take him to the wood shed. See my videos for a simple solution for universal care. I thought I was clever until someone pointed out that my solution was how medical services are provided to military families.

Most of us that "actually" pay for healthcare would love to see a lower cost. But, since the government gets its funds from the same people it's obvious to me I will be paying more for the government to act as an intermediate on my behalf. No thanks! Give us tax breaks on what we pay for insurance, enact some tort reform, and fix the illegal immigration that is a huge burden on our system. If you are serious lets start there, not another soon to be bankrupt fed entitlement program.

If VA had such a huge increase in health care costs while you were governor, why did you do NOTHING?

No one is advocating nothing, Senator Warner. The media and you politicians continually avoid the highest-level issue: whether you tyrants in Washington have the right to do what you're proposing. The answer is a resounding NO. And Americans are fed up with it. I, as a commonwealth resident and constituent are fed up with it, and I look forward to voting you out of office for not adhering to your oath and responsibility to the people you represent.

It is not your inaction that will cost us, but your continued actions: your regulations, your subsidizing, and your general meddling in the economy. Laissez-Faire didn't bring us this problem, Corporate Fascism did. Get government out of health care.
