MAGGIE - Phillip Coomer Songwriter Original song

She's in Texas and she's not alone. I met her a week ago and wrote down this song one night this week. I hope you like it. Its based on a true story and it was a real epiphany for me.
Cindy says its the best song that I've written in a long time- but she says that after each new song. Maggie is her aunt.

Update: I learned yesterday that Maggie's husband was a fireman here in Texas. He was burned very badly over most of his body including his face in a fire. After recovering he did return to work for some period of time as a fireman.

I wish for all of us to have what Maggie has. I hope that we can be like Maggie & Tommy.

Tommy lost the battle that took him from his side.

Brother, I listened in on your videos drawn by the "sturgis nothing to hold you" video as I am a avid biker. I listened to your other music. I think you are excellent. then I listened to "Maggie" I know how she feels. My wife and riding companion has inoperable cancer . She is the love of my life and I dont want anyone else but her. This song is the first one I have ever heard that says what I really feel. Thank you you are a great artist.
