Chaos World is an RPG that was released for Nintendo's Famicon back in 1991. It was never officially brought stateside. I'm playing a fan-translated version of the ROM.

I have the rom and the nes emulator but I was wondering if you would answser a question? How do i save my game? (I tried pressing F5) F6 just reloads the rom but why isn't there an in game way to save? thankful for your help

@jdirtpaint Its been a while since I've played, but if I remember correctly, the game autosaves everytime you sleep at an inn.

Try saving state just before sleeping at an inn, then reset the rom, just to make sure its saved or not.

@jdirtpaint Save State is the built-in emulator saving feature, it should be in the emulator menu. Which emulator do you use? I might be able to help you find it.
