  • She sounds pretty good actually. I've heard other Supremes perform these songs and it wasn't pretty...at all.

  • Hi guys, I would like to confess, I don't know that much about the supremes or Diana, but I like both, together and seperately. I realise there must have been a lot of awful politics during the motown years - but I am a little shocked at this YouTube user called '

kurtsupreme' who seems to have made it his mission in life to comment negatively and CRUELLY on Diana Ross videos. She might be a DIVA... But a lot of people LIKE her, get over yourself and do something productive with your life.

  • Silly Miss Kurt, I know you need to believe Diana`s Background Singers were relelant in some way, But Sweetie, With Diana Ross you have a Sumptuous Auditory Feast, but you remain Obesessed with The Garnish, Such a waste of Time really

  • @TheReturnOfBigBear The SUPREMES were a recording act as well as a performing act. There is a new DVD out called "The Best of THE SUPREMES on Ed Sullivan. With the choreography, vocals, and stunning visual appeal, no one could say that the legendary trio that was the toast of the 1960's wasn't a bonifiied GROUP! You can rant and rave all you want. That won't change the fact that THE SUPREMES were just a better act than Diane or Mary ever were as solo acts........sorry, the truth often hurts!

  • @kurtsupreme Looks like I have to Kick Your Retarded Ass Again, Miss Kurt, Diana Ross IS THE LEGACY pin head!, There were more Psuedo Supremes in that Motown Studio than real ones, So much for your Leganday Trio Bull Shit, Millie the Cleaning Lady & Lou Effie the Switchboard Operator, could of ( & just might have) sang on those records, Diana was the one that mattered

  • @DetroitLives313 Diana sounds Awful?, Well "Detroit" have a Listen to that Water Buffalo Mary Wilson Thing, Being that you Worship her Nasty Ass, Go Back to Her Videos

  • @kurtsupreme As a fan of the legendary trio, I am concerned with THEIR legacy. When Diane is screeching Supremes songs, it affects THEIR legacy! Let her sreech "Love Hangover" or "The Boss" all night..........I couldn't care less! When it comes to murdering Supremes songs with phony "Supremes" background singers, that's another story!

  • @kurtsupreme Then why aren't you watching videos of the Supremes on YouTube? If you feel so strongly, then why are you wasting time on inferior talent? That's what's so baffling.

  • @OldMotownFan As a 48 year old, you missed the phenomenon of THE SUPREMES, the vehicle to Diane's stardom. They were really something in a way you can't really understand if you didn't experience it firsthand. Being raised on Diane as a solo act, I can understand that you relate to her in that manner; however, since I did experience the legendary trio in all of it's glory, I am baffled by you "Ross as a solo act" fans who find my comments "baffling!" The Supremes were simply a better act!

  • @kurtsupreme Yes, that much is clear....in a baffling way.

  • @OldMotownFan The songs of the legendary trio relied on a girlish "cooing" sound that Diane delivered in those days. The soaring background harmonies of Flo and Mary coupled with cutting edge stage moves completed the trio. Yes, Diane is too old to be singing those songs... her voice just can't rise to the challenge. Also, without Mary and Flo, all I can see is what's missing and it is distracting. Then, there's always Diane's ego..she really thinks that she is something! I don't care for her!
