Check out one of our viewer's recipe for an easy pound cake! Her name is Curtiecia and she was kind enough to share her recipe with us and I did it all by myself LOL! Yall know how I feel about baking :D For more recipes go to http://gdseasoning.com

Here's Curtiecia's Easy Pound Cake Recipe:

1 box Duncan Hines butter recipe
3 eggs
1 stick butter, melted
8oz sour cream
2 tbsp Vanilla or Lemon flavoring (optional)
Prepare Bundt pan with Bakers Joy spray ( Just make sure the spray says "Baking" spray
*use only the above ingredients, do not add water or oil


1. Preheat Oven to 375 degrees
2. Combine all ingredients with mixer.
3. Spray the bundt pan evenly with the baking spray.
4. Pour batter evenly into prepared bundt pan
4. Bake for approx. 40 to 45 minutes.

  • Hey Carolyn I mad this tonight...and yes i used butter and flour and this pound cake taste GREAT. Nice simple and easy to make. MELTS IN YOUR MOUTH. I Love how the top is nice soft and buttery! Thank you

  • @bignicks124 If you don't use the baking spray you can butter then flour the pan. Otherwise the cake will stick...trust me lol

  • I dont have the cookin spray can i use something else?
