On 12/7/2009, the Fairfax County Board of Supervisors honored BSSCWoW (Burke/Springfield Senior Center Without Walls) with a Recognition Ceremony for the three faith communities that sponsored the 2009 pilot programs -- Accotink Unitarian Universalist Church, Durga Temple, Burke United Methodist Church -- and a reception followed with BSSCWoW recognition of the two outstanding instructors -- Susie Thomas for line dancing and Kris Brinker for tai chi.
