The James River is rising in Jamestown, ND. Many dikes and sandbags have been placed. The river is expected to crest on May 2nd or 3rd.

  • Yes, a great majority of ND homes have basements. Thanks Sean for posting. What an easy way to document history! When we moved to this neighborhood, we specifically asked about the river and water issues and were assured that they have never had a problem... Seems a bit odd that now 3 years in a row we are having issues. Live, Learn and deal w/ the situation I guess.

  • Does anyone have basements in Jamestown?

  • LOL I SAW THAT!

  • lol
