what kind of moisture barrier are you using between the mounded up earth and the blocks?I know growing up there were homes like these built but they had a problem with water sweating through the blocks.I've always liked the thermal mass idea but wondered how they overcame the condensation problem.shoot me back a reply on this if you can please i'd like to learn more

@tappakeggaday1 My wife is actually the foreman on this job. From what I understand you lay down a thick plastic sheet which acts as a moisture barrier and then throw dirt on top of it. Seems pretty simplistic to me but according to the books it works and the plastic is pretty much non destructible. thanks,
