@ComradeOblivious Badoer markedly improved from Europe to Belgium, while Fisichella had six races with no results. Luca had barely even driven the car, because the testing ban meant that Massa and Räikkönen got the most seat time. Badoer had almost no influence in the car's development.

@tommykl Given that he had NEVER driven the car before he still did better than the guy who had helped develop it.

@ComradeOblivious Tell me. What were the circumstances under which he stood in for Massa? He hadn't driven the car in months, he hadn't taken part in a single motor race since 1999. With no in-season testing allowed, he had never driven the car, as the car he had driven in January had changed dramatically since then. Also, how well did Fisichella do in the car having just scored a podium for Force India?

@tommykl Did you not see how horrifically badly he did for Ferrari when he stood in for Massa? Good driver? Bullshit.
-
@ShadowFenrir2 He has always been a good driver. Bad cars, bad luck and unfortunate circumstances meant he was never able to show any of his talent in Formula 1.
-
@tommykl He was quite a good driver in Formula 3000!
