This goes through the process of setting up your Zmodo DVR to work on your local network.
Once this is finished, the user will be able to access the DVR from any computer on his or her local network and playback content stored on it.

I would like to give a big A+ to Zmodo Tech support line. The tech help with port forwarding by login into my ISP router and I was seeing my cameras and seeing it on my iPhone in 15 minutes. My ISP support tech (Centurylink ) are idiots, 3 days on the phone with them I got nowhere. But thanks to Zmodo support line 866-551-6881 I am a happy man.

I noticed that in the cmd window the gateway is 117.16.4.1 however you set it to 117.16.4.10 in the DVR network settings. Misleading if one is literal.

Is there a way to view the live streams in something like VLC? The activeX only interface is a bit of a pain for those of us who do not use Internet Explorer.
Thanks
