  • Well, this video is only 720p and not 1080p when you are watching in HD, I checked it through a special add-on for FireFox.

And no, if you upload a video in 1080p all options should be available, 1080p, 720p, HQ, Low Q and some others.

The problem with YouTube is that sometimes, even if you upload a video with theoretically right resolution, the option you want still isn't available, it's kinda stupid.

I believe that this video is uploaded in 1080p but, YouTube only made it 720p.

  • Wow the colors are sooooo much better than the Flip UltraHD!

  • I recommend this video from Norway:

    Diving in Bishop harbor

  • why when i try to use media browser LE it wont let me export files it gets to 50% then stops!

  • i dnt get the camera when i go to media browser LE and try to export my files it stops at 50% it wont tell me why!

  • this camera seems to have sharper image than all other pocket cams , the samsung and sanyo seem to be close but this just seems better

  • @trinix777 there are no exact settings on the cam.. thats the problem

i record with 1080p oder 720p but what comes out is 430x360

  • @SeeThaRainboyyy

Hmm, look at that... but it's not a wide screen format, fail. But maybe there are some settings on the cam.

True standard 1080p for me is exactly 1920 x 1080, and no black lines on the sides or on the bottom and the top. It kinda pisses me of when I watch blu-ray movies on my full HDTV, 16:9, 1920 x 1080. A big black line on the bottom and on the top. But that's just because movies are made for cinemas and use a very wide aspect ratio, it's similar to panorama.

  • i got one for christmas

while i went skiing i recorded some ski stuff in 1080 actually !!!!

BUT NOW i put the videos on my pc and the resolution is now 480x360 !!!

    some ideas?! :( im desperate...

  • @trinix777 maybe because 1080p means here : 1440x1080! thats the size of the 1080p record with this cam

  • Anyone notice there picsio uses "fake" resolution to make to get the 720 and 1080p? Change from 1080 to 720 and then 640, you'll notice the camera appears to change it's "zoom" function. aka, fake resolution or interlaced resolution. Explains why my Canon SD400 has crisper res at 640 then my picsio has at any resolution it offers.

  • @FARUKRAMIC i HAVE THIS JVC PICSIO AND ITS GREAT...BUT...THE LOW VOLOUME WHILST WATCHING PLAYBACK OF WHAT I HAVE JUST RECORDED IS VERY LOW BUT IS GREAT WHEN PLUGGED INTO TV OR UP-LOADED VIDEOS TO PC, ARE ALL JVC PICSIO's LIKE THIS OR JUST MINE ? thankyou kindly.
