the really is no mood or manner of play which escaped mozart. there are so many musicians who have one style. when you hear it, you know who it is. for mozart, when you hear perfection, that's when you know it is the master.

@truecrypt you can find parallels to Hitler when thinking about Stalin and this recording of Yudina. Hitler admired the conductor Furtwaengler. The only thing different, Furtwaengler did not have the courage of a Yudina!!!!

very emottionnal playing, very close to today standard by the way. nice

well she was Stalin's favorite pianist. Its been said this recording was on Stalins record player the night he died
she was an extrodinary brave woman, many of the things she did could have gotten her killed but she was one of the few, or was she the only one who angered Stalin and got away with it.

is this one the recording she did at the middle of night for Stalin?
Pianno is way too slow.. it's killing this beautiful music

@jct09100 May I suggest Mickey Mouse cartoons as an alternative?
Less "pianno", much faster and perfectly suitable for all audiences...

Yes, exactly... May be he even felt some kind of repentance listening to this... we'll never know...
