A History Bites special on Canada's slow (but sure) independence from Britain. The animated segment in this section was made by Frog Feet Productions: http://www.frogfeet.ca

For Canada's relationship with the United States, watch History Bites Uncle Sam: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=82Nx_ejWb8k

  • I know its supposed to be commical but its rather inaccurate, althought Henry Hudson correctly claimed Canada for England because England and Scotland were still seperate contries at the time prior to the creation of Britain, @7:16 they not only have the wrong flag( its suposed to be the St. Georges Cross not the Union Jack) but the Union Jack didn't even exist yet, expecially the one they show which contains the St patrick cross of Ireland.

  • @stevebloodymckenna It's likely just an error made by the animator.

  • @Wondefullwood Yeah shes an illuminati bitch

  • Wow... I know more of the names in this then the names of the presidents. I still find one of the United States presidents in class and have a "Who the heck is this?!" moment. I'm suddenly sad and amused.

  • Queen Elizibeth of The UK is also the queen of australia new zealand and canada

  • Well you must understand that unless the show in question is internationally known, or hyped to extremes, there aren't going to be a lot of people looking for it. And videos like these don't show up on the front page and probably never will.

I'm not Canadian either, but was referred to these videos from a Canadian friend.
