I heard this song for the first time yesterday. I was on my way back from court in which I was told that I would be seeing my daughter on Saturday for the first time in 6 months. I haven't stopped listening to it and thinking of her since. Love it.

Good song, but the main tune sounds a lot like 'White Room' by Cream

@cgd8813 Totally agree. I think the media is a huge part of the problem as well. They treat the father's rights issue as a complete joke. For example, these 'unbiased' debate programs are often podiums for hardcore feminists to turn round and suggest children don't need a father figure.The problem is, Father's rights debates do not sell papers or increase viewers.You might see the story of a father who has done something horrible after years of abuse from the system, but the medium doesn't care.

@PaulieC1982 I think these women, so called "mothers" who do this are an absolute disgrace and so are the women around them who encourage such abuse of they're own children, and thats what it is...Abuse. It's become a massive problem for fathers. Unfortunately a whole legal industry has been created by it. All i can say is never quit, as your daughter gets older ur ex has less n less control. If n when your ex decides to fuck the court order off go back, get in her face n demand she's punished.

@cgd8813 Thanks man, I'm getting to see my daughter more now but her mum is still being difficult so its still going through court. Its a lot better than never seeing her at all but I feel the connection is very tenuous. As soon as we're out of court, her mother will stop showing up again. Glad to hear you've got to see your daughter, hope things are going easier for you than myself.

@PaulieC1982 Hello mate i went through the same thing a couple of years ago, for 6 months her mother kept us apart i only got to see her by fighting in court. Dark days but at the time this really was an inspiration and now despite the distance and shit i have her all the time. Hope it's going well for you both.

@killersbhoy I'm 16, and not knowing what you said, this song actually made me think about the children I'll hopefully have. I nod my head to your lad. I reserve a quiet respect for the disabled who hold fast, and I disapprove of those who simper over the disabled who clearly don't want the attention.

@Phonicsey Not The Point. Its The Fact He Wrote The Song For Someone. Don't Be A Bitch Bout It.

@Phonicsey pwned.
kelly wrote this song for his son, and its like my thoughts in words for my son who has a disability and is an inspiration to me. He never feels sorry for himself and faces his troubles head on
