Lonely Planet was actually founded by an Australian couple, and the company headquarters are in Melbourne, so it's not really entirely surprising that many of it's employees are from the same part of the world. Just because Australia and NZ are isolated geographically doesn't mean that they are also isolated culturally. Your suggestion that it is "surprising" that Aussies and Kiwis are well-travelled and cultured people is frankly insulting and ignorant.

You have to love the wonderful South of France!

Motorcycle riders don't like illegal u-turns and lack of turn signal use. Then again, I don't like it when in my truck either.

That was such a good video! haha! Good job! I like the music in the background too. What was the song you used?
I find it quite surprising that so many Lonely Planet writers are Aussies/Kiwis. Nice to know that people from these fairly isolated countries are so into travelling and seem very cultured.
And Provence is my favourite part of France so it was great to see a nice video presented about it. Love Marseille and dying to see Avignon! <3

I visited Paris last year, and I fell in love with France altogether. Their view on life, food, and culture is something that many can learn from.
