there will never be someone so inspiring and accurate as Jack Layton during question period. it was during these question periods where im sure many Canadians developed their fondness of Jack, and now that his contributions can no longer be enjoyed going forward, many of us feel like we've had a part of us stolen, robbed, and taken from our hearts, lives, and our future. the world wont know what hit them in your absence Jack. bon nuit et au revoir mon amis :'(

Jack Layton has inspired me through both his words and actions. He will always be missed, and never forgotten. He was the true voice of the people of Canada.

@moremoreenough I'd have to say Dr. Layton as well -- the French he uses is quite formal, far more formal that what I'd use when conversing in French. Note the delay in the reaction of most of the Conservative MPs when Harper quips about the majority government (Alice Wong being a great example) -- most of them had to wait for the translation through their earpiece before understanding what was said. Flaherty seemed to be the only person on camera who understood it in French (he's from Quebec).
