Verbatim 1TB External Hard Drive

This is a look at the Verbatim Store 'n' Save SuperSpeed USB 3.0+ USB 2.0 Desktop Hard Drive. How is the design of this hard drive, how does it perform, is it worth the money? Let's find out. This is a 1TB drive that my mom picked up from Office Depot on sale, for backup purposes. It includes Nero Backup and Burn Essentials, which is $40 USD. This should work on Windows and Mac, but I am a bit confused on that (see video.) This hard drive run's on USB 3.0 which is up to 10x faster than USB 2.0. This will however work on USB 2.0.

The logo in the bottom corner will be fixed. The reason for it looking so bad, and nonprofessional was the fact that my hard drive failed, taking my logo, and Photoshop with it. I will reinstall Photoshop, and make a new logo shortly. Since Microsoft Paint doesn't allow for transparency, I had to make the image transparent in Sony Vegas Pro 10, which is a video editing program. Not a photo editing program. I made the image in Microsoft Paint in a matter of seconds. Also, sorry for the horrible ending, without links, or anything. The video file off of my video camera got deleted by accident, and was not saved to my computer, and frankly I didn't want to re-record. I made a new intro in Adobe After effects. Anyone like it. Good, because it took FOREVER to make. I assure you that I will be back, and better than ever shortly, but the whole hard drive failure, has given me quite a road block.

@cateye27 Is there any place you can download the software for this hard drive? Or do you really need the software?

@freshchance22 It's not necessary. Both Windows, and Mac OSX allow for plug-and play. This means that you can plug in the drive and have it work without worrying about anything else. It does come with software in the box, but it is optional.

if u lose photoshop again Paint . net is a good free alternative I use it a lot and it does transparency. nice program. BTW intro was good.
