Emergency Surgeries Leaves family in Crisis

If you take the time to view my story then please consider this. I have just over 60 days ro raise $7,250.00 or lose my Home. 60 days from now 1/31/2011 Have you ever been in this kind of a situation that you didn't create or of this magnitude & pain ? This has been more than a test for me and way above my abilities so I am ASKING people please, I need your help ! I don't know how my wife and I have been able to make it through this crisis without losing our minds though we have sacrificed alot, but this is America & sacrifice is part of being free and the journey! If you watched my video, I did have to take my employer to court to obtain the funds he owed me in held wages during the construction of his hotels I was building for him ( $60,000 ) and I won a suit here in CT Superior Court for $65,000 + interest but I had to then hire a recovery firm out of PA who charged me 50% to recover the funds of this judgement- They sent me a letter recently stating the great news, they settled with the company not for $65,000+ interest but for $16,000 and they keep $8,000 and are sending me $500 a month for 16 months towards my mortgage.. talk about outraged !!! what took me 4 years to earn they destroyed or cheated me out of in just 60 days at a cost to them of a $107.00 filing fee .. shame on people like them, so just when I thought things might get brighter for my family and I and we could move on from all this pain - nope , someone comes along and kicks you when your down ! I feel so furious and broken right now , with no way to save myself from this situation without asking people for help ! ... Since this video I've had numerous complications other than legal issues. I also had another surgery , an 8 x 10 mesh was installed inside my stomach as I had several several complications during and after my first surgery with infections & tears. You really do come to appreciate alot when you feel like you may not be around much longer. but when your physically & financially broken, I'm finding it to be a hard road to come back from. No income for 18 months will destroy any man no matter how hard he has worked and saved all his life. Presently We are still 4 months behind on our mortgage but we are still in the fight & never collected a dime of Government assistance ! Not one dime ...why, we didn't qualify so they say .. we are middleclass working American's - 4th generation, not on welfare or any other Government assistance program so being qualified is just about impossible not to mention degrading ! I recently joined a Civil War Reenactment Group to help keep my sanity and to remind myself and others why we Honor this Country ( God ) and the men who built it ! Over the last 18 months I started losing site of that because of the way I have been treated. I felt it best to restore my own honor than take matter's into my own hands, so to speak. Can You Relate ? if you would consider helping us I would thank you from the bottom of my heart . Being broken this way is a dangerous place to be in as a man accustom to working

Now someone like you who is ALSO doing everything he can to help himself, I do not mind sending what I can afford. You were honest, open and clearly not being lazy and that's respectable. You did what you could do (ie; sold your vehicles to make the mortgage pymt)...

@kastnmagic : Thanks for the comment & to update you I'm doing ok , I sold most everything I had & then borrowed from some friends which got us out of foreclosure & I'm now paying them all back a little every month. I still owe alot & my credit is shot but I didn't lose my home or my dignity, nor did I receive any money from welfare, social security or any other government program, I burned wood palletts all winter & took small jobs doing carpentry repairs against my doctor's wishes :)

I am four months behind mortgage, nine months behind property taxes, and I just don't give a shit anymore. Have applied for home loan mod......my neighbor did, too. She actually got it....she doesn't have to pay mortgage of prop. taxes for two years...............they are to put them at the back end of her thirty years mortgage. She's fine with that.. She figures she'll be dead, anyway.

we keep getting jerked around, we finally cut enough things to comply with their loan mod calculations but time will tell if we get granted, but they are only dropping our payments to 33% of my wifes income.how did your neighbor get such a sweep deal, no payments for 2 years I couldn't get 5 months no payments.. did she have an attorney ? if so you should use them and save your home.. this ride sucks huh
