This Is A Damn Shame. How Could You Take Something Sacred And Turn It Into Shit. You Have No Pride. No Respect For Your Elders. These Dances Are Sacred. Passed Down Through Generations. Our Hetitage And Languages Are Dying. And You Are Just Helping Them Out By Doing This. Make A Video With Cowboys Dancing To Pow-Wow Songs And See How Many People You Piss Off Then.

Pow-wow is not really sacred. Sundancing, Sweats, Fasting, pipes, feathers, drums, mountains, rocks, water, medicines, etc. are sacred. Pow-wow todat is a new movement. You do not know about my intentions with using this video, so ask before you start judging a Native. IF you know about sacredness and talking to elders, one does not judge another before talking to them, and not judging them by a video.

This video is aimed towards youth, and getting thier attention, Then showing them the real songs and dance, because right now, there is a loss of cultural identity, so I have to use both sides of today's society to draw our youth back into who we are as Native people. This video is used as a lure to get them interested in thier own culture, not to disrespect! I have put on many presentations and have had nothing but positive reviews, even from elders, so I am sorry you feel the way you feel.

i like it :) the instruments in the song, the brass, really makes the song fun and with the dancing, looks cool :) i wouldnt know pow-wow tradition, but if its all "new" anyways, then why the big deal? you had good intentions and that's all that matters.

that's not too bad, my grandmother was really traditional and refused to go to pow wows because they gave out prize money (as anybody should know, only gifts were given) and she also would never acknowledge some of the dances as legitimate i.e. jiggle dress that originated from Oklahoma not our tribe, 200 years ago we did not have the diversity in dances we have now. things change and we of all people adapt, dancing is in our genes, how you dance and what you dance too will change
