@ABoy877 i meant that a theory is not just any old idea. a theory is a collection of observed facts that explains a fact. it is the strongest position in science. again, it is a fact that the earth revolves around the sun. it is a fact that the earth is the third planet from the sun, the speed of the planet the tilt of the planet...many many things in science are known for a fact.

Never said its a viable theory, my point was that there is no such thing as fact in science, and how do you know that the effect of such a system is not accounted for in the math? did u do scientific research? are u a geologist? physicist?

@ABoy877 actually no. the people who believe our system is binary have no evidence for this and lack and education in this field. the effects of a binary star system on the gravity of all these planets would be accounted for in our maths. we would recognize this.

just because people have an idea doesnt mean its a viable theory. if i told you gravity is false and its just gods love holding us to the earth would you say it is closed minded to say im silly? i hope you would!

@skitzoLSD thats not my point homey! for example, it is a well established theory and commonly accepted "fact" that our earth revolves around one sun in a singular solar system, HOWEVER the vast majority of solar systems in the universe are binary or even tertiary solar systems with multiple suns. sum people believe our sun has a dead twin that is hard to detect but getting closer to us gradually, now if u tell sum indoctrinated scientist he will say ur crazy but that is not scientific thinkin

i would have to disagree and say that is a common politically correct appeal to the laymen. in reality we know it is a fact that the earth revolves around the sun. we know that our precipitation cycle is fueled by the sun evaporating water. there are many facts that science has shown the word theory itself is just an explanation of the fact. it a FACT cells decay the theory explains how and to say it MAY be wrong is just a safe guard. its a fact that the computer works because of its components

what purpose would they have for lying? the first person to show that evolution was false would win millionsin grant money to study whats actually going on. scientists have in hidden agenda other than interpreting the tested observations and explaining them. it seems if anyone is fooled its the person believing ancient myths over testable observable fact.

i aint trying to knock ur reasoning and obviously this kid has no clue about the truth of his own believes and history but i have to say if u are a tru scientist then you NEVER accept anything as fact! thats the whole point of science, it evolves, perceptions of reality evolve jus like everything else, therefore theories are NOT fact and what we think we understand about nature and its laws today may change drastically tomorrow

Any scientist can find genes in different species and build a story around it. They obviously can fool you, but not me.
