That was quite some turbulence after departure. Great video of one of my favourite aircraft. I got a chance to fly in it a few times with Delta.

The MD-11 had a rocky beginning, but once they ironed out the problems, it became a very good aircraft. They didn't meet distance or fuel burn requirements, and several major airlines, Delta being the biggest, cancelled what they had on order. The fix was a re-engine and aerodynamic redesign, which made several major changes to reduce drag. Once that was completed, they sold very well, surpassing the break-even point of 200, I believe.

This is the first time I have seen the avionics bay. Facinating. The fly-by-cables was funny. The cables themselves were interesting. Great video, again.

Its not a fly by wire aircraft its a fly by cable aircraft lol
