Yes! Jesus GUARANTEED His Church against false interpretations of truth (He Himself being Truth). This is why, despite all its worldly ups and downs (just like Jesus' own ups and downs, i.e. His successes, and His rejection by those who would not believe His Word - fickle disciples who walked away from Him - such as a billion Protestants do today, preaching a thousand different "truths") - we stick wisely and faithfully to the teachings of the one and only Church which He founded.

Absolutely simple. We wear and display crucifixes because "we preach christ crucified"! A crucifix is to remind fallen man at what price he was redeemed.

If you reckon carrying or displaying a sacred crucifix is idolatory, then you I'm not sure where you developed your ideas about christianity from.

Those that ask why Catholics put Jesus on the cross, I ask you this... Why do you take him off? A cross without Christ is merely a wood. It is not the cross we worship but the one nailed to it. and also, dear brothers, the heart of God's law is love not arguing about trivial matters such as this. Just as the Apostle Paul said..." it matters not if you are circumsized or not "... It matters not if you have Christ on or off the cross but it does matter is he is in your heart.
