also a current favorite in my house is "Goose Island Oatmeal Stout" from Chicago. Its a good flavorful dark beer and it's sweeter than Guinness, if you like sweeter items... good luck exploring new beers!

thank god i live in ireland so i can swim in the black stuff if i want,not really,but there definatly aint no "anti-good beers laws" preventing me from buying guinness.

I LOVE Guinness! I would recommend trying an Ale, or maybe some other Stouts if you prefer thicker beer... try to find one called "Moose Drool" it's good! Red Ales are good too, like Killian's and Smithwicks. Blue Moon is unique for a Belgian style Ale (try it with a slice of orange). If you can find a microbrew sampler pack, try one of those, especially if you find one called "Summit" I love them all! Also, maybe try a hard apple cider like Strongbow or Woodchuck.
