  • Beautiful.

  • @cupabara i think he wrote this for his mother after she passed away.

  • ummm why did the video cut out the last few seconds of the piece?!?!

  • @spike4379

Listen to McCoy Tyner as a soloist on his instrument as well.

    Resplendent.

Listen to Bill Evans. Lyrical and Debussy-inspired pianist.

  • @ageshero This song is from Duke's Queen's Suite composed for Queen Elizabeth II. Originally, he pressed only one copy exclusively for her. It is available on the album Ellington Suites.

  • I first heard this song a few years ago at the end of the Sean Connery movie called "Rising Sun" and always wondered who had recorded it. Thanks for posting.

  • anybody know a similar sounding artist? i mean i know its duke but that really moody deep dark jazz style. anyone?

  • The most beautiful shit I've ever heard The Duke play.

  • Simply one of the most amazing songs ever written. Duke's genius knew no bounds. Now this is classical music.
