@scottduncan44 thanks, always looking to discover new shit

@jonno63 Check out Kid Anderson , Johnny Cat and Marvin Green also I have several performances on you tube which I do not consider exceptional but definitly not "70's stuff. I played guitar like it was the Seventies in the Seventies. It is old shit now. Playing that is about as original as a dixiland jazz band. Some of my favorite modern players are Joe Louis Walker and Tommy Castro . I've got one of Joe's CD's where he actually does one track in a "70's style, its called Great Guitars

This is one of my favourite songs of the concert; fantastic drum fill at 2.33, great Joe!

One of the better Mayall performances in terms of the tune. More interesting chord changes then his normal fare. Nice simple bass playing. The guitaris is competent but he is playing in a generic 1970's blues rock style something most competent players can do. This is the style that Eric Clapton and Mick Taylor did with Mayall over 30 years ago. This is not a bad thing just nothing out of the ordinary.
