This song stayed,for several weeks, as No.1 on Binaca Geetmala, a very popular weekly musical program on Radio Ceylon, in good old days.An exceedingly difficult song to sing, as I think as a layman in technicalities of music. But Dr Abeeda you sang it with a beautiful melody, that touches and moves the heart. And perhaps that's the ultimate intent of a good music.
