Title says it all. I tried many laptop coolers that failed by not blowing air fast enough. This way works. Just buy a small desktop fan (bought mines at Target for $6.99) and get four bottle caps ( I used vitamin water bottle caps ). Place the four caps under the four pegs of your laptop and point the air flow direction of your fan to push air underneath. The bottle caps allow for more air movement and the fan does the rest. Don't waste your money on the gimmicks. Lastly, I hope Tiger Woods wins the 2009 US Open.

  • Fan is $6.99-8.99 at Target. They don't have to be Vitamin Water caps. Lol

  • Good idea. I didn't even think of using bottle caps. I've been using whatever random objects I can find to stick under my laptop. eat a dick

  • lol at your last comment. i forgot to delete that last part of my video. dont get offended, you fags.

  • This is a good idea. I have an Odyssey L stand and use a Wal-Mart 10" fan ($9.99) that's aimed at the heat sinks of my Toshiba Qosmio X305 and it doesn't shut down inadvertently like before. This laptop really runs hot with video/music programs like VDJ but now with the fan, it's all good.

  • A ten inch fan? that is pretty big to lug around. but if it works, hey, why not? these little fans tilt/rotate upwards so it can hit the bottom of your laptop as well. depends how high you have your laptop.

  • the fan is $10 and the 4 vitamin waters are like $3 each... thats $22 .... false advertisements

  • 20$ for 2x120mm fans.

  • dude you said eat a dick lol wtf

  • lol'd @ "no homo" and few seconds later "Eat a dick"... The hell ?

  • @BRPhillis Its not going to get fanned if the fan is blowing from behind the laptop and sides are closed . Laptop cooling is ment for gaming . If fan is going to cool laptop which is about 70 C its gonna cool your hand . When hand is cooler the blood circulates slower so your reflexes are lowered . No big deal unless you are pro gamer . That aside the laptop cooling is best when air flow is vertically pointing at its bottom. So that warm parts are directly hit with air flow !

  • @hldemi Dude, no matter what side the fan is on, you hand is going to get fanned on. It's just air... It's not gonna kill ya. And a lot of people have desks that are more than 1 foot wide, so I'm pretty sure they would be able to put the fan on the other side...

  • @BRPhillis Fan on the other side would cold your playing hand and make blood circulate less thus allowing lower reflexes.... Not to mention that many right handed people put their laptop on the left side of the table so that their left hand would have enough mouse movement . Lower the mouse sens. the more movement required . So the vent on the left side is not much of an option for small or medium tables. Its bad option anyway . Fan has to be under the laptop , vertically pointing at its bottom

  • @hldemi ...Then put the fan on the other side? Umm... I'm sorry but were you seriously stumped by that?
