UNITED NATIONS & OBAMA (16/5/09) strongly backed the SL Govt & demanded the LTTE to surrender immediately.

LTTE terrorists (cowards) are only looking after their own self interests & MUST STOP USING their own tamil civilian population as human shields.

Tamils around world please wake up and not be conned further.

lets go back to the SL of old. yes, Tamils, Sinhalese & ALL other peoples lived in peace & harmony.

The present humanitarian crisis could have been nipped in the bud, if the world leaders had told Prabhakaran at the beginning in no uncertain terms that he could not bank on their support to open an escape route by taking civilians hostage, and cracked down on the LTTE sympathisers drumming up support for Prabhakaran in western capitals
