Ring a ring a rosie (the circular 'rosy' bruises plague victims exhibit)

A pocket full of posies (before vitamin C was identified, Nostradamus- who was a doctor, not psychic in his youth- realised eating rose petals helped ward off plague & which we now know is because rose petals have a high vitamin C content & can be dried or carried in pockets)

Atishu, Atishu (A-tissue or Bless You)

    We all fall down (dead)

  • There are two types of Plague: Bubonic plague results when a person is bitten by a flea carrying the bacterium and it infects the blood stream. Pneumonic plague occurs when someone breathes in aerosolized droplets from the cough of someone infected with the bacterium in their lungs and upper airways.
