@Grunt922 I don't find those as similar as you might. Adults choosing mates is not a destructive act. You might argue it is an indirect societal threat, but that isn't the same "concreteness" of a young child's shattered innocence and abused body. People don't see the harm in gay marriage, so they tend to support it. The harm of child abuse is readily apparent. In fact, society has increased the age of accepted sex from the young teens decades ago to around 17-18 today.

The government should never censor speech merely because it is distasteful or offensive. @Kitty2Cats I do not see the world as black and white. The people who say "omg pedophiles! attack!" see the world in black and white. If they molest someone, arrest them and prosecute them. It is wrong to arrest someone for having an idea about changing the law. Their protest causes you zero harm.

Secondly, I was unaware of any catholic start to the boy scouts. I've never heard that mentioned. In any event, they are a quasi-government organization backed by all of our tax dollars.

@OaGuardian Actually those momuments in question are anything but Christian. They're actually based on ancient pagan archecture. The biggest give away is the Washington monument being that is an oblesk which happens to ancient Egyptian sex symbol for the male reproductive organ.
