  • Occu-Idiots!!!

  • 14 people got their booty plundered.

  • LOL! :) Pirates for the WIN!

  • Points for creativity, but negative points for having the wrong building.

US Bank is actually one of the better banks out there, which makes me think it's just being chosen because it's well known and not because you actually have an issue with it.

Also, vilifying banks for foreclosures is just an odd idea. Taking a loan from a bank and not paying it back is stealing, and if your house is security on that loan then the bank has a right to take it. Bringing down the bank would just destroy jobs.

  • @gavinandmadie Actually its real easy to get in that building, since like I stated earlier its not even the headquarters. The US Bank Plaza building is an office building with a lot of businesses in there, parking below, and quite a few places to eat in the main lobby area. Its open to the public. They'll actually be doing more damage to the other businesses in the building then US Bank. But again, they are more about dressing stupid and getting on TV then actually making a difference.

  • You guys are aware that the building you show in this video is not even the US Bank Headquarters? Seriously, do some homework. But I suppose you guys are all about show and not actually doing anything meaningful. Have fun occupying the Caribou in the Plaza.

  • IMHO, having this type of goofy fun with what is ultimately a very serious matter just conveys an overall lack of seriousness. I can't imagine Egyptians rising up against Mubarak dressed as pirates. It's this hippy-dippy, "free-to-be-me" fringe that has really turned me off to the whole Occupy phenomenon. It comes across as a really bad community theater production, instead of the focused and professional phenomenon that it really has to be if it's going to amount to anything in the long run.

  • @samwillness

Living in a million dollar mcmansion that you couldn't afford, or leveraging you house to go on vacation isn't "human right"

200 years ago there were 200 million less people on this land, so something has to give.

Who profited from the mortgage mess? Not most banks, or credit unions. They have, and are taking it in the shorts.

  • "They let you live in a building that they own while you pay a monthly fee...." Idk about anybody else but if you ask me, housing should be a human right! 200 years ago the government would pay YOU to OCCUPY SPACE and now we're being evicted, harassed, and worse for committing the same act which has now become a CRIME if we simply don't have enough flow. Something's wrong in this nation and it begins with our OWN PEOPLE taking advantage of each other in hopes to gain profit rather than coexist.

  • I gotta say that all banks suck to a certain extent, but USBank is actually one of the good guys in all of this crap.

All banks will foreclose on your house because it's not yours, and most of the time it's mostly theirs. They let you live in a building that they own while you pay a monthy fee to them to borrow the money to purchase the property.
