The transmission from mind to mind, between Lama and disciple, is the heart of Tantric Buddhism. What this requires is that the Lama have profound realization of the true nature of appearances and awareness and the disciple have longing faith. When these two meet and blend then transmission can not be hindered even by distances of time or space. This prayer was written by the mahasiddha Do Khyetnse to catalyze this blending. Its translation and recording was overseen by Do Khyetnse's further life t.k. - words below:

You are the source of all virtue and goodness, the companion of beings, who
perfectly accomplishes the two benefits of self and other. Lama, in all seasons, may you who are the treasury of all of the sublime primordial wisdom dharmas, flower in all places. Your merit takes the form of the Autumn moon, its beauty resplendent in the midst of infinite constellations and galaxies. Through the accumulation of virtue, may its brilliant white light shine without limit and may the profound treasures of the ku!nda flower blossom in the ten directions.
