FNMs lineup for recording Angel Dust is one of finest God´s works in life.
-
Some people say Jim was not important to the band but I believe that his style was copied a bit for the albums he was not on...
-
where is Jim nowadays?

im gonna start wearing 2 pairs of glasses

i stopped listening to what FNM was putting out after jim left. i won't listen to what they put out now if jims not back.

Jim was by far the best technical guitar player FNM ever had- just listen to his solos on The Cowboy Song, his live work, or his on Disco Dust.
His guitar parts on on FNM's earlier work were great too: some really subtle touches on Introduce Yourself, and his thrash riffs just added another dimension.
The other FNM guitarists just sounded generic- I pretty much gave up on them after Jim left.

Jon plays cleaner then them all...nuff said

I was hoping for Jim's inclusion on this tour also. Nothing against Jon Hudson, but he just doesn't do all those little intricate flourishes like Big Jim used to. Just watch live performances of "Epic", circa 1991, 1992, to see what I'm talking about. Jim was the "metal" part of the Faith No More equation, and they just don't quite pack the same punch without him. Don't get me wrong! I'm not living in the past, like these obsessive Cliff Burton fanatics. I just wish Jim was in the lineup.
