UCD Undergraduate Student Research (SSRA)

Research is an increasing feature of undergraduate programmes at UCD. The UCD School of Medicine & Medical Science runs an 8-week programme (Student Summer Research) where undergraduate students undertake laboratory, clinical and patient-centred research projects during the summer months.

The programme participants compete for the Student Summer Research Awards through oral and poster presentations of their work. The SSRA's have become a highlight of our undergraduate programmes and is launching increasing numbers of students into research careers.
