Quick Nanowrimo post from Joanna Penn from http://www.TheCreativePenn.com on how the thriller book is going. Lessons learned so far including how much the sentences suck, but that's ok for a first draft! also, some tips from other authors.

  • Thanks for the tips, in this post you're beginning in fiction! It really helps and it gives me hopes for my own writing,. Keep up the work and thanks for the inspiration!

  • Oops...Stephen King is TYPING not tying...See I can't stop myself from going back to edit. ....DAMN

  • As a fellow sucker...YES! This video lifted my spirits...My writing is reminding me a bit of the comedy skit where Stephen King is writing Pet Cemetery...He's tying at about 1000 words per minute and someone asks what it's about, and he has to look at the page he's typing, and says, "Hmmmm. It seems to be about a dog that dies..."

Again, thanks for the spirit lift...

My word count is only 7018 and I watched this as an excuse for procrastination. So back to work!
