Hollywood has made two versions of 'The postman always rings twice' but what a difference in sensibility! I still prefer this one.

I have not seen many of his movies but from those I have, I admit that he had a style that appeals to me. Thanks Visconti, I don't find ACTION of supreme importance. There is this delicacy, this splendor, this image that constitutes something precious. Greetings

I agree! Visconti is one of my favorite directors (theater and film).
I've 13 of his films on DVD. When this documentary is brought out on DVD I'll buy it immediately.
