i could get the strange artefact even if i went down. I blocked the door leading to the small room before the canteen with the crate, i took all the pieces in the room with the camera and i dropped them in the canteen room (you must take and drop all the pieces in the canteen or else bye bye the secret). Then, i did the stuff with the tape, use the crate in order to go on the vending machine and i built some stairs on the vending maching with the pieces i took and i reached the balcony ^^

Nice job on finding the secret room , though abit of dissapointment that you didn't unlock it but it's kewl . I just jumped down on that stage(with green lighting camera) , curious to see what's down there than what's up there .
