"Hitler conquered more land than Napolean." What you say is so ridiculous , do you know that the German was motorized in WW2 and not the French army in the Napoleonic wars . Napoleon was a military genius he has won dozens of battles by himself . Does not compare the military greatness Napoleon with Hitler, not compare the incomparable.

hitler was a great man but he was definately NOT a military genius, he never even took command of an army or designed plans. napoleon won almost every major battle he was present in (except in Aspern essling, in which he was heavily outnumbered by the austrians) Thats why after the ceasefire treaty the allies planned to engage the french marshals and beat them one by one and avoid engaging with napoleon directly

Napoleon detached his whole army from the coast of the channel to south germany in a few weeks in 1805. And that only with horses and boots.

Imagine todays couch-potatoes or even todays mechanised soldiers marching that distance in that time. I always think about how different we are living today compared to those people 200 years ago. Today, our biggest problems is if we can grab cheap gasoline for our car.
