There are many covers of this song on Youtube, and it amazes me that while everyone plays the song so differently, they all sound great. Here is my version... tuned down a half-step (and the high notes still suck...sorry).

  • Wow, I love your version of this! I'm convinced there are at least 2 or 3 guitar tracks on the original, which is why it's so hard to figure out. I think yours is about the closest I've heard, though (not to mention much easier than what I came up with). Hmm...maybe I'll have to give this one another try now. ;)

  • Thanks for the encouraging comment. Although I wouldn't underate your own version. I like the chords you use and think it sounds great! And you can sing really well... I can't.

  • lovely rendition of a moving song. no offense to the other comments, but I say your timing's just right. so maybe it's not metronome-perfect, but it BREATHES, and that's exactly what music must do. nice.

  • What an inspiring comment. Thank you,I'm glad you liked it.

  • Good attempt, however your timing is really off in some places. Try playing along with the metronome more. Otherwise, good job.

  • Thanks for the suggestion. I've been playing with a metronome lately, and now I can hear where I am off tempo.. it's unfortunately quite obvious. Besides, metronomes are fun to jam with... you worry more about the tempo than where you put your fingers and come up with great progressions. Thanks dude!
